Handheld GPS position logging

Using Garmin handheld unit:

• Turn on GPS unit
• Set the screen to display current coordinates
• Place unit right on top of instrument.
• Make sure station identifier is permanently marked on the sunshied and visible.
• Take picture of the scree with phone, making sure site ID is readable in picture.
• Record site ID, latitude, longitude, and date/time on notebook as backup.
